16:00 GMT 07.04.2016 (Updated: 16:11 GMT 07.04.2016) Residents of Syria's Deir ez-Zor have two escape options: they either pay up to $1,000 to Daesh terrorists or strike a deal with smugglers and die in the minefields.
Deir ez-Zor residents told Sputnik Arabic that Daesh forbids the locals from leaving the city and surrounding villages. Only those who are sick get permission to leave for treatment. They formalize it by filling out "an application".
