13:22 GMT 31.03.2016 (Updated: 10:51 GMT 06.08.2022) Citing the need to deter some kind of 'Russian aggression', Pentagon stands ready to rearm the European continent.
Russia refuses to simply sit by and watch the ongoing US and NATO military build-up in Europe.
According to Alexander Grushko, Russia's envoy to NATO, Moscow's response will be asymmetrical, highly efficient, not extremely expensive and calibrated in accordance with the extent of the threat.
