    Former members of the Latvian Legion of the Waffen SS on Wednesday, March 16, gathered for an annual march through Riga to commemorate the members of the unit killed during World War II.

    The annual parade has become the focus of fierce criticism from a number of international anti-fascist organizations as well as from governments around the world, as the SS, along with other Nazi organizations like the Gestapo and SA, were outlawed following the Nuremberg trials.
