11:21 GMT 04.03.2015 (Updated: 10:05 GMT 06.08.2022) Just two weeks ahead of Israel's election, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made an appearance in the US Congress in an attempt to halt Iran's peaceful nuclear program, repeating bold claims that Iran is in fact "the foremost sponsor of international terrorism" and could be "weeks away from an entire arsenal of nuclear weapons."
Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke before the US Congress on Tuesday, urging delegates to put an end to Iran's nuclear program, calling it a "march of conquest, subjugation and terror". US President Barack Obama later dismissed Netanyahu's vigor, saying that there was nothing new in the speech. Notably, Netanyahu's appearance was fortuitously timed just two weeks ahead of Israel's election.
