According to the official list of SPEIF participants, Huawei Technologies Company Ltd. was represented by Deputy Chairman Guo Ping.
Meanwhile, on Friday Russian President Vladimir Putin qualified the existing attempts to force Chinese technology giant Huawei out of the global market as the beginning of a new technological war.
The Russian president said that attempts to monopolize the new wave of technology and limit access to its products was the main source of global instability.
The Chinese company Huawei was accused by the United States, as well as a number of other countries, of stealing commercial information. Washington likewise suspects Huawei of working for the government of China, a US adversary and party to a major trade war with Washington.

Huawei has dismissed claims about its alleged cooperation with the authorities and pleaded 'not guilty' to charges of trade secret theft.
The US Department of Commerce added the Chinese company to its "entity list" for allegedly being a national security risk. US firms are no longer allowed to trade with Huawei. China retaliated by promising to draw up its own list of "unreliable" foreign entities, potentially exacerbating the ongoing trade war.
