US, OPEC Should Establish Constructive Dialogue - Hess CEO
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The Hess Corporation integrated oil company has no immediate plans to return to Russia, the company’s CEO John Hess told Sputnik.

“I’ll always have a fond place in my heart for Russia but no plans to come back right now,” Hess said on Tuesday.

“We used to have a business in Russia. It was a successful business, but because the capital demands of our company are so great, for business reasons we exited Russia,” he added.

Hess Corporation exited Russia in 2013 when it sold its Russian Samara Nafta holding for some $2 billion.

Hess Corporation, headquartered in New York City, is a leading global independent energy company engaged in the exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas, according to the company’s website.
