Revenues from sale of 19.5 percent of Rosneft will allow the government to maintain budget spending without additional deficit, the funds are expected in December 15-20, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said Thursday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian President Vladimir Putin described on Wednesday the sale of a 19.5-percent government stake in Russia's Rosneft oil company as the biggest deal on the energy market this year.

"We expect to see these funds in the budget somewhere between December 15-20. This money will allow us to fund our expenses, which have been planned for the current year, without increasing the budget deficit," Siluanov told Rossiya 1 broadcaster.
