Russia, Palestine Conclude Agreement on Mutual Investment Protection
14:45 GMT 11.11.2016 (Updated: 14:54 GMT 11.11.2016) Russia and Palestine concluded an intergovernmental agreement on promotion and mutual protection of investments.
JERICHO (Sputnik) — The agreement was signed by Russian Deputy Economic Development Minister Alexei Gruzdev and Palestinian National Economy Minister Abeer Odeh.
The Russian Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Palestinian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture concluded an agreement on cooperation.
Russia's JSC Special Economic Zones (SEZ) and Palestinian Industrial Estates and Free Zones Authority signed a memorandum of understanding.
Russia and Palestine also signed a plan on cooperating in improving the conditions of safety and health at work.
On Friday, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev arrived in Palestine to hold talks with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, visit cultural sites and educational institutions built with Russia’s assistance.
