    Yuan Down Over 3% Against US Dollar Amid Election Results

    The Chinese currency went down by more than 3 percent against the US dollar as results coming in from the US presidential elections suggested that Trump was likely to win.

    BEIJING (Sputnik) – According to Wednesday data, the yuan was at 101.94 against the dollar.

    The dollar was at 1.1217 against the euro on Wednesday morning.

    According to the Politico voting count, Donald Trump currently has 197 electoral votes against Hillary Clinton’s 131.
