MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The demand for Russian goods in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) market is expected to increase in the future, a source in the UAE Environment Ministry told Sputnik on Tuesday.
"Ras Al Khaimah emirate is witnessing the influx of large numbers of residents, investors and tourists from Russia and its neighboring countries, and they are considered essential consumers of the food brands sold in their countries, and once these brands are available in the UAE market, no doubt they will go to buy them," the official said.
He noted that Russian meat producers would begin exporting meat products to the UAE market soon once they passed all safety measures and proved that their products are produced in a manner that comply with the Islamic rules.
