    Russia-Japan Gov't Commission to Meet on November 17

    The next Russia-Japan intergovernmental commission will meet on November 15 to finalize the economic agenda of Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit for talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe next month, the Deputy Russian Minister of Economic Development said Monday.

    ST. PETERSBURG (Sputnik) — Putin is expected in Japan on December 15 for a visit that was originally scheduled for fall 2014.

    "Next week there really will be an intergovernmental commission between Russia and Japan on November 15, where the economic agenda of President Putin's talks with Prime Minister Abe in December is expected to be finalized," Stanislav Voskresensky told reporters.
