    China became the first foreign buyer of Russia's Ansat light multipurpose helicopters after signing a delivery contract on military and transport helicopters, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported Tuesday.

    ZHUHAI (China), (Sputnik) — The Russian Helicopters company and China's Wuhan Rand Aviation Technology Service signed a contract on the delivery of five Ansat, Ka-32 and Mi-171 helicopters, with an option for 13 additional units.

    The signing ceremony between Russian Helicopters Deputy CEO Alexander Shcherbinin and the president of Wuhan Rand Aviation Technology Service Co. Ltd. took place on the sidelines of Airshow China-2016.
