MOSCOW (Sputnik) – On October 28-29, a Meeting of the High-level Committee of the Algiers Accord of the Organization for the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) is taking place in Vienna.
“Theoretically, we can meet in Doha at the Gas Exporting Countries Forum on November 17… We have not discussed the issue yet,” Novak told journalists on Saturday.
He added that the necessity to hold a meeting would depend on agreements reached by experts during the meeting in Vienna.
On September 28, OPEC member states agreed on cutting its oil production to 32.5-33 million barrels per day for the whole cartel, however, no exact limits for each country have been placed. The OPEC countries are set to finalize the agreement on oil output freeze at the OPEC summit in Vienna on November 30.
