    Apple Quarterly Profit Drops 19% Amid Lower iPhone Sales - Statement

    WASHINGTON, October 25 (Sputnik) — Quarterly profits of the American technology company Apple have dropped by 2.1 billion as the firm’s revenue from iPhones has slipped, according to the company’s fourth quarter results released on Tuesday.

    "The Company posted quarterly revenue of $46.9 billion and quarterly net income of $9 billion. These results compare to revenue of $51.5 billion and net income of $11.1 billion…in the year-ago quarter," Apple said.
