MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Western anti-Russia sanctions barely affect Moscow but have an impact on the country's access to technology, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Wednesday.
"We keep repeating that these so-called sanctions have little impact on us… They do limit access to technology and I see a threat in it. By the way, this harms the world's economy as a whole, not just the Russian economy, because Russia's economy is, undoubtedly, an important part of the global economy," Putin said at the Russia Calling! investment forum in Moscow.
He added that Russia would certainly overcome the challenge and those imposing sanctions are mainly harming themselves in the long run.
