Russian gas giant Gazprom is interested in exploring opportunities for working on energy projects in Greece, Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said Saturday.

THESSALONIKI (Sputnik) — The Russian deputy prime minister was speaking at the ongoing Greek-Russian business forum in Greece’s second-largest city of Thessaloniki. He did not specify any particular projects.

"There are interesting energy projects inside Greece. Gazprom is involved in negotiations relating to several assets, I wish it success," Dvorkovich told reporters.
