Kiev has paid Moscow for storing and reprocessing used nuclear fuel from Ukrainian plants, RIA Novosti reported citing a source.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Ukraine has transferred Russia a payment for exporting, storing and reprocessing used nuclear fuel from Ukrainian plants, a source familiar with the matter said Wednesday.

"Everything has resumed now. The Ukrainian side started payments around a month and a half ago," the source told RIA Novosti, adding that despite the delay, both sides are trying to fulfill their annual plan.
