The Untied Kingdom's decision to withdraw from the European Union poses no risk to Russian energy giant Gazprom, the deputy chairman of the company's management committee said Wednesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Thursday, the United Kingdom held a referendum to determine whether or not the country should leave the European Union. According to the final results, 51.9 percent of voters, or 17.4 million people, decided to support Brexit, while about 16.1 million opposed it.

"I don't know what logic and what methods JPMorgan was following by assessing that Brexit would negatively impact Gazprom and that Gazprom was the company facing the biggest risks. We are seeing no such risks," Andrey Kruglov told reporters.
