Investors From Outside China, India Interested in Rosneft Privatization
10:54 GMT 23.06.2016 (Updated: 05:42 GMT 30.04.2023) Investors from countries other than China and India have voiced interest in the privatization of Rosneft energy giant, Russian Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev said Thursday.
TASHKENT (Sputnik) – Ulyukayev answered in the affirmative when asked at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in the Uzbek capital of Tashkent whether other foreign investors have expressed interest in Rosneft’s privatization.
Up to 19.5 percent of the company’s shares are expected to be sold in the second half of 2016, with the Italian bank Intesa Sanpaolo serving as an investment consultant and US law firm White&Case as a legal consultant.
