Moscow and Beijing may sign an agreement on the development of a long-haul aircraft and a heavy civil helicopter during Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to China, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said Wednesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Putin will pay an official visit to China on June 25 at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping.

"[The sides] will discuss issues of cooperation in aircraft building, rocket and space industries, obviously intergovernmental agreements will be signed which will launch a program of joint development and the creation of a wide-body long-haul aircraft and a heavy civil helicopter," Ushakov told a briefing.
