Jordan will buy $7.84 billion worth of Russian heavy drop systems P-7 for air dropping heavy cargoes, Russia state procurement agency says.

Jordan ‘Very Grateful’ to Russia for Role in Syrian Ceasefire Deal
MOSCOW (Sputnik) The issued documents revealed that the "Technodinamika" holding that is a part of Rostec state corporation and Russian Interior Ministry would conclude a contract on production’s quality audit – including parachute systems for Jordan.

The system allows dropping military vehicles weighing from 3.7 to 10 tons from a height of 985 – 4,921 feet. Moreover, one can drop different cargoes and equipment in containers. The agreement dates from August 26, 2015.

The portal also said that Nigeria would buy $4.6 million worth Russian unguided air-to-surface missile pods.
