Russia's Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev said Monday he had discussed the possibility of US firms taking part in the Russian privatization process with US Ambassador to Russia John Tefft.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Russian government's draft anti-crisis plan includes privatizating state assets.

"The meeting was primarily aimed at exchanging information. I provided explanations regarding a large number of issues that concern out US colleagues, including the perspectives of Russian economic development and the possibility of US firms participating in the privatization," Ulyukayev told reporters.

"I think we had a constructive dialogue," he added.
