PRAGUE (Sputnik) – Manturov met Hungarian Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Peter Szijjarto and Prime Minister Viktor Orban during a visit to the country on Tuesday.
"We discussed, in detail, including with [the Russian railway machine-building company] Transmashholding and the local Dunakeszi [Railway Works] the issue of the joint production of Russian train cars, including metro cars, passenger cars and trams for the project developed by Transmashholding to supply Hungary and Eastern Europe," the minister told reporters.
Manturov added that the parties were considering making joint bids in tenders held in Middle Eastern and North African countries, including Egypt.
