MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russia may renew cooperation with Afghanistan in the credit and financial sphere, Sentyurin, who also chairs the Russian part of the intergovernmental commission with Afghanistan, said at a press conference in Moscow.
“Another important document that was developed by us…Russia has taken the path noted by the Paris club of creditors in relations with Afghanistan. We have moved on to a complete write-off of Afghanistan’s debts and we have finished all of this. In our view, this gives ground to renew cooperation [with Afghanistan] in the credit and financial sphere.”
