ABU DHABI (Sputnik) – Bahrain is interested in the realization of a number of joint Russian energy projects, including import deliveries of Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG), Bahraini Energy Minister Abdel Hussain bin Ali Mirza told Sputnik on Tuesday.
“The Russian side has welcomed this proposal since we need limited amounts of gas,” Ali Mirza said.
“In regard to constructing a port to unload LNG, then we would import LNG from Russia,” the minister added.
