MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) expects world oil demand growth in 2016 to reach 1.26 million barrels daily (mb/d), the organization said in a report issued on Monday.
"For 2016, global oil demand growth is expected to be at around 1.26 mb/d, a little higher than the previous month’s report, to reach 94.17 mb/d," OPEC's January Monthly Oil Market Report reads.
Growth in 2015 was revised by OPEC to average 92.92 mb/d.
