MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven and Minister of Justice Morgan Johansson will represent the country at Davos World Economic Forum in January, the press office of the Swedish government confirmed to Sputnik Wednesday.
"From Sweden, the Prime Minister and the Minister of Justice will go to Davos," a press officer said.
The Geneva-based World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting is traditionally held between late January and early February in Davos. The Swiss town serves as a venue for representatives of dozens of countries to discuss the most pressing political and economic issues.
Earlier this week, it was confirmed to Sputnik that Norway’s Prime Minister Erna Solberg, Finland’s Finance Minister Alexander Stubb and Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades would attend WEF.
