    Russian Presidential Aide Vladimir Kozhin said that Moscow plans to deliver weapons to Iraq worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) Russia plans to deliver weapons to Iraq worth hundreds of millions of dollars, Russian Presidential Aide Vladimir Kozhin said Tuesday.

    “This will be hundreds of millions of dollars,” Kozhin said in response to a question of his assessment of the volume of arms that Russia is planning on delivering to Iraq.

    Kozhin said that there would be several different types of weapons in the deliveries.

    “Mostly this will be lightweight firearms, armored tank equipment, and aviation equipment,” he added.
