Investment in Russia's electricity grids may amount to up to $100-120 billion in the next decade, Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko said on Monday.
"We have to start working on a complete revamp and modernization of our unified energy system, first of all, our power supply network," Shmatko told an energy forum. "We estimate investments in the electric power distribution networks alone to be at some $100-120 billion."
