Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant (ChelPipe) has lodged a complaint with the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) against Russia's largest steelmaker Severstal and Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) for overpricing their rolled steel, a FAS official told RIA Novosti on Tuesday.

"ChelPipe has filed a complaint with us. It is too early to talk about when it will be considered," the official said.

At the end of 2010, Russia's largest car-maker AvtoVAZ also lodged a complaint against Severstal, which supplies 60% of its rolled metal, for boosting prices by 30%. Severstal has said it had to increase prices because of rising international raw materials prices. The FAS found no violations in Severstal's actions then.
