    Renault says Avtoframos '10 output up 70% to 87,600 vehicles

    France's car-maker Renault increased its 2010 output at Avtoframos, a joint venture with the Moscow city government, by 70% to 87,600 cars, Francois Provost, Renault Russia deputy chief executive officer, said on Tuesday.

    "In 2010, the Moscow plant ... produced 87,600 cars, which is 70% more than a year ago," Provost said.

    The plant produced 62,800 Renault Logan cars and 19,300 Renault Sandero vehicles, Provost said, adding that localization amounted to 54%. The company expects localization to hit 74% by 2012.

    Provost said that Avtoframos would this year launch the production of Stepway, Megane, Fluence and Duster.
