Russian monetary base down $8.2 mln in week to $152.7 bln

MOSCOW, November 16 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Central Bank said Friday the country's narrowly defined money supply (M1) was 3 trillion 743.3 million rubles ($152.7 billion at the current exchange rate) as of November 12, down 200 million rubles ($8.2 million) in the week since November 6.

According to the Bank, M1 money supply consists of the currency issued by the bank, including cash in vaults of credit institutions, and required reserves balances on ruble deposits with the Central Bank.
