MOSCOW, June 26 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's state-controlled oil giant Rosneft [RTS: ROSN] said Tuesday it expected to produce over 100 million metric tons (733 million barrels) of oil in 2007, taking into account former Yukos assets purchased in May.

At the May auctions for the assets of the bankrupt oil firm Yukos, Rosneft purchased the Siberia-based Tomskneft with output of about 10 million metric tons (73.3 million barrels) and the Volga-based Samaraneftegaz, with crude production of 11.5 million metric tons (84 million barrels).

"This year, crude production will total 101 million metric tons (740 million barrels) taking into account Samara [Samaraneftegaz] and Tomsk [Tomskneft]," Rosneft Vice President Sergei Kudryashov said at a Moscow international oil and gas exhibition.

According to Kudryashov, Rosneft's crude output, excluding the new oil assets, will exceed 90 million metric tons (659 million barrels) in 2007.
