"The government has constructively accepted our criticism and we have seen some changes but unfortunately no global shifts," Sergei Mironov said at the third all-Russian scientific-practical conference, Monitoring the Legal Environment and the Practice of Legal Application.
He said the Federation Council did not see that the government was taking a systematic approach to such important issues as doubling GDP and making the Russian market competitive.
"We see neither plans nor clear guidelines for the implementation of the tasks set by the Russian President in his address to the Federal Assembly [parliament]," Mironov said.
"All we hear is speculation that this is impossible and that this is difficult. We believe this is fundamentally wrong," Mironov added.
