The Khristenko-Abraham meeting is set for May 27, Naumov said.
"The ministers will discuss the entire range of matters of Russian-American cooperation in the fuel-energy sphere. The situation on the world oil market may be in discussion", he said.
This month the world oil prices have reached a record high - over 41 dollars per barrel. The RIA Novosti-polled experts believe that the oil-price jumps are due, particularly, to the Mid-Eastern instability and the fall of the dollar rate relative to the world currencies basket, leading to the United States' additional expenses on the purchase of oil products.
According to RIA Novosti, the American energy secretary is also going to hold talks with representatives of Russian companies in the fuel-energy complex.
On Friday Transfeft boss Semen Vainshtok told reporters that for May 28 he plans a meeting with Abraham. Vainshtok did not specify what they will focus on.
"I wouldn't like to voice all questions. It may be American and Japanese investments, grants for increasing the capabilities of pipeline systems", he said.
