MOSCOW, 14 April (RIA Novosti)-While speaking at the Federation Council on Wednesday, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov said that state control over the targeted use of budget funds would increase considerably.
"The state's control over the targeted allocations of budget funds will grow, the role and place of the state's financial control from the viewpoint of effective budget allocations and deferral targeted programs will grow," Mr. Fradkov stressed.
According to him, a government session on Thursday would consider the "most important question" of effectively allocating budget funds and reforming the budget financing process.
