    RUSSIAN-EGYPTIAN BUSINESS COUNCIL IN CAIRO TO PREPARE PRESIDENT'S VISIT TO MOSCOW

    CAIRO, April 4, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - The Russian-Egyptian business council in Cairo on Sunday will hold a session devoted to preparations of Egyptian President Hosni Mohammed Mubarak's visit to Moscow, the council's co-chairman Ahmed Shiha said in an interview with the local news agency MENA.

    According to him, the president's visit to Russia will be a turning point in developing economic, trade and investment relations between the two countries.

    Within the framework of the visit, the Council will hold the second session to announce the formation of the Russian-Egyptian Business Center, which will assist the two countries' businessmen in establishing contacts.

    According to Mr. Shiha, other issues on the Moscow visit's agenda will include joint projects in automobile-building, heavy machine equipment, medicine and possible exports of joint products to the Middle East and Asia.
