7TH INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT FORUM "MOSCOW-INVEST 2004" TO BE HELD IN ABU DHABI

MOSCOW, April 2, 2004 (RIA Novosti) - The 7th International Investment Forum "Moscow-Invest 2004" will be held in Abu Dhabi (the United Arab Emirates - UAE) from April 2 to 6.

As RIA Novosti was told in the press center of the City Hall and the Moscow government, Moscow Mayor Yury Luzhkov will take part in the work of the forum.

The United Arab Emirates does not only possess a vast investment potential but is also a member of one of the world's most influential organizations - the Organization of the Islamic Conference, in which Russia got the status of an observer shortly before the forum's holding," Mr. Luzhkov's message of greetings to the participants of the Abu Dhabi forum says.

Over two hundred heads of Russian and UAE companies will hold a dialogue with representatives of the two countries' authorities at all levels, and exchange opinions on urgent economic issues. Special attention at the forum will be devoted to the presentation of new investment projects.

The Moscow senior executives will acquaint the forum's participants with complex city programs such as "Moscow's New Ring", "The Fourth Transport Ring of Moscow", "The Development of Hotel Business", "Moscow-City", The Draft Program of the Development of the Reserve Territories, etc.

The organizer of the forum is the Moscow International Business Association (MMBA) whose president is Yury Luzhkov. As a result of holding previous forums the companies-members of the MMBA attracted to Moscow and Russia over $5 billion of capital investments
