UKRAINE TO ADOPT LONG-TERM ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

MOSCOW, APRIL 1. (RIA NOVOSTI). -- Very soon Ukraine will adopt a programme for long-term economic development, Ukrainian Prime Minister Victor Yanukovich has said on Thursday. He is now on a three-day working visit in Moscow.

"A positive dynamics of economic development continues to be seen during the first months of this year. The gross domestic product in January was 10 percent, 11.1 percent in February. We think we'll preserve the economic growth dynamics", Yanukovich said.

"The favourable situation on the foreign market lets us encourage the development of the domestic market", he said.

The premier said that the development of the domestic market is the priority in Ukraine.
