MOSCOW, APRIL 1. (RIA NOVOSTI). -- The Russian Ministry for Economic Development and Trade does not rule out cutting the level of poverty in Russia by 1.5 to two times, though with the involvement of business.
"A serious programme to cut poverty in the country can only be realised if employers become active participants in it", Mikhail Dmitriev, first deputy Minister for Economic Development and Trade, has said on Thursday. "In this case, we do not rule out the reduction of the poverty level by 1.5 to two times in Russia in three to four years to come", he added.
