MOSCOW, March 18, 2004. (RIA Novosti). On Thursday Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting on servicemen's housing.
"Some time ago I ordered to find a modern and effective way to solve one of the main social problems of the Armed Forces, servicemen's housing," the head of state said opening the meeting.
Deputy head of the Kremlin administration Igor Shuvalov, Economic Development and Trade Minister German Gref, Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov, Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin, Deputy Defense Minister, Colonel-General Anatoly Grebenyuk, Deputy Defense Minister Lyubov Kudelina and Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister Vladislav Putilin took part in the meeting.
Vladimir Putin suggested they sum up "intermediate results" of their work and consider the Defense Ministry's proposals.
