MOSCOW, March 15, 2004. (RIA Novosti) -- Industrial production in February grew by 0.5% on January 2003 and by 8.7% on February 2003, said Economic Development Minister German Gref. He expects inflation to grow by 0.4-0.5% in March.
He also said at the traditional conference of the president with the key ministers that inflation was 0.1% in the first ten days of March. "This is two times lower than in February 2004," said the minister. "If we keep the pace, inflation will be 0.4-0.5% in March." This is a good start towards the planned year-end inflation, said Mr. Gref.
