MOSCOW, March 10, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - About 30 bills on the development of mortgage crediting are to be submitted to the State Duma, said former Vice Premier Vladimir Yakovlev who was in charge with mortgage issues in the dismissed Russian government.
When these documents come into effect, they will help to overcome the existing banks' and people's distrust of each other and to solve the problems of guaranteeing of deposits, pledges and credits, Mr. Yakovlev noted.
According to him, the State Duma will consider the bills on the development of mortgage crediting by the end of its spring session. The bills will help to solve housing problems, he added.
