MOSCOW, MARCH 5. /RIA NOVOSTI / -- Upon expansion of the European Union, Russia will preserve the earlier terms of access for its goods to the markets of ten aligned countries, Russian deputy minister for economic development and trade Maxim Medvedkov told journalists on Friday after the end of talks in Brussels. In discussion was the minimisation of Russia's losses following the upcoming expansion of the EU, beginning on May 1.

"The package of questions related to the existing (in EU member countries) antidumping measures regarding Russian goods has been actually closed. The sides have agreed upon schemes allowing Russian exporters to participate in accelerated revision of the current measures, or preserving the terms of access for Russian goods to the markets of ten aligned countries", Medvedkov said.

Earlier, Medvedkov said to journalists that, as a result of the antidumping measures and the direct ban on the import of Russian products (such as uranium) to EU countries, after expansion of the European Union Russia may lose up to 150 million dollars.
