MOSCOW, March 3, 2004. (RIA Novosti). Adzharia will participate in the parliamentary elections in Georgia, Adzharian leader Aslan Abashidze told journalists in Moscow on Wednesday.
"My party will not participate in the elections. However, I have never stated that Adzharia will do the same," he stressed.
"If it did, it would be historically unclear. Adzharia is a part of Georgia and we should show our attitude to the events in the country," Abashidze said.
According to him, 3.7 per cent of Adzharians having the right to vote took part in the presidential elections in Georgian.
