MOSCOW, MARCH 2. /RIA NOVOSTI / -- In 2004 the Gazprom company plans exporting approximately 140 cubic meters of gas in comparison with 133 billion a year before, deputy chairman of the board Alexander Ryazanov told the press conference on Tuesday.

To him, in 2003 Gazprom supplied to the domestic market 282 billion cubic meters of gas worth 248 billion roubles.

Ryazanov paid the attention to the lowering of the average price of gas supplied to countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States. "The average price of gas supplies to CIS countries in 2003 was about 50 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters, while in 2002 it was about 53 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters", Ryazanov said. "The lowering of the average price in 2003 is due to the gas shipments to Belarus according to the Russian prices".
