BISHKEK, MARCH 2, 2004. (RIA NOVOSTI CORRESPONDENT YULIYA ORLOVA) - The international universal industrial exhibition "Siberia-Kyrgyzstan-2004" opened on Tuesday in the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
The press service of the Kyrgyz cabinet of ministers reported that the main aim of the exhibition is to further develop cooperation and partner-like relations between Kyrgyzstan and the Siberian federal district of Russia.
By organizing the exhibition the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan and the "Siberian Agreement" interregional association intend to give an opportunity to business circles of the two regions to establish new contacts in various spheres.
Several dozen production and trade structures, which use modern technologies and are oriented to the production of competitive export goods, will participate in the exhibition from the Kyrgyz and Russian sides.
