The introduction of the new model of inter-budgetary relations is a primary task today, Putin said at the meeting on the problems of the Krasnoyarsk territory's development.
"A precise scheme is being formed today - the volume of authorities of each level of power should strictly correspond with available financial resources," the Russian President said.
"The formation of common centers of accumulation and redistribution of the largest part of funds should entail the economy of budget resources, the reduction of managing apparatus and finally to the consolidation of the common economic space and tax discipline at all levels," the head of state noted.
According to him, the main political and legal decisions in the sphere of inter-budgetary relations have been already taken and they should be effectively and properly implemented in the fixed terms.
