KHABAROVSK, February 26, 2004 (RIA Novosti) - President Vladimir Putin emphasised it necessary to meet the scheduled completion deadline for oil terminals now under construction.
The president noted the particular importance of Far Eastern sea ports.
"The programme for the modernisation of Russia's transport system envisages the construction of modern loading complexes, among them oil and liquefied gas terminals," President Putin said at a Khabarovsk conference devoted to the development of the transport infrastructure in the Far East and the Baikal area.
"I request that all responsible for these issues should meet the scheduled completion deadline," emphasised the president.
