"The state of the Russian-Brazilian relations were predetermined by our presidents," Alyoshin said. "It is necessary to stick to the tonality proposed by them." He believes that Russia and Brazil "have all the pre-requisites for achieving a new level of mutual economic relations in power engineering, in science and high technologies." Boris Alyoshin attaches special importance to the development of relations in the agrarian sector. "Russia is greatly interested in the technology of growing soya, oil-seed meals and cereals," he said. "These are great possibilities." The Russian deputy prime minister arrived in Brazil to take part in the work of the Russian-Brazilian inter-governmental commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation.
